Heritage Classic™ is Northwest Door's finest handcrafted carriage house style garage door. These flush insulated wood doors are built with specially framed and sized sections to receive wood overlay designs. Skilled artisans can replicate most any design that you or your architect can create. Choose from select woods like Cedar, Tight Knot Cedar, Redwood, Knotty Alder, VG Fir, Mahogany and other fine woods.

PRODUCT INFO

CONSTRUCTION: Door frames are constructed using 1-1/8" thick finger-jointed West Coast kiln dried Hem/Fir heavy stile and rails, Tongue & Groove weather joint at meeting rails and a 1-1/8" Polystyrene core. 1/4" Luan Mahogany Plywood is pressure laminated to both sides of frame (E Series) or 3/8" MDO Plywood on exterior (M Series). A 3/4" thick wood overlay is applied to the door face to create the design, the (C & H Series) have an addition layer of T&G material applied to the door face prior to the application of the overlay design. The overlay material is back cut with 1/8" grooves to help resist cupping or warping before it is applied to the door. All windows are true divided, if overlay is an arched pattern, the top of the windows are also arched. Door faces are Paint Grade unless otherwise specified Stain Grade.

HARDWARE: The Heritage is equipped with heavy duty 15" radius torsion hardware; track is 2", verticals are angle mounted, horizontal track has continuous reinforcing angle. 3" track supplied when required by weight. Long stem 10 ball bearing rollers with nylon races, non corrosive door fixtures and graduated 14 Ga. double end hinges are standard. All doors include one strut per section, 2-1/4" or 3" depending door width and weight.
